Kirsten Scott

Kirsten’s University career started with her studying Philosophy and Psychology in Edinburgh, before moving onto medicine at King’s College, London. Kirsten did an academic foundation program based at King’s after graduating where she combined research on motor neurone disease epidemiology and genetics with her early clinical training.

In 2011 Kirsten moved to Cambridge to continue her clinical and academic training, initially in general medicine and then in neurology.

She is now part of the RAB group doing a PhD, looking at inflammation in Parkinson’s Disease, specifically the role of B lymphocytes.
